6 July 2015: Role playing games after the Greeks' statement vote
The Austrians calculated in role playing games how it would be living in an economical crisis already short before the Greeks voted for freedom and against more austerity measures which wouldn't help the economy to grow. Last mentioned isn't my own opinion - these are facts which were researched by several international economic experts.
We have here in Austria similar Greece-like problems: people and enterprises have to pay a lot of money to the state and we don't know where the taxes go. On many important positions friends of political parties handle the daily business without any qualification except the one of being loyal. Even this isn't my own opinion - these are facts which are currently distributed via media in Austria.
I will give an example: The recently published lead article on DiePresse.com states in the sub-headline that the manners in politics are getting continuously more brutal and that politicians should remember their (translated from German) "...actual task: to serve the citizens and the state. Not their own party and career."
Alongside to 'serious politics', there exist also 'small matter'-facts which bother the Austrians. In this country, nobody is secure from spying. Not only own emails or behaviour online are allowed by law to be tracked easily, even the very private bank account can be opened without the decision of a judge (this is a brand new law which will be active soon). So if you have nosy f(r)iends on the right positions around you...
On the one hand, the Austrians feel like working half-time for the state - without any rewards than the pressure of the spy-state; on the other hand, the population becomes incited against each other - if its the new physicians mystery shopping where spies probably will be lying to cause a wrong diagnosis and catch the physician as criminal, as defrauder, or is it the annoying repetition of the theme concerning the refugees from war regions. For sure, war refugees must find a place (in a reasonable rate in European countries) but the world community must become more active in making peace in the affected regions so that people mustn't flee. Nobody leaves of one's own free will the home country.
Even by facing the current situation, I won't. Well, I thought about it...
