Oliseh looking for playmakers in Super Eagles squad

Sunday Oliseh has revealed that he will not invite only players who are based in Europe.

The new Super Eagles boss, says he will scout the likes of Obafemi Martins, Bright Dike and Ikechukwu Uche, who ply their trade in North America.

“We have our own little scouting network and personally I am in charge of the European arm of it,” Oliseh said in a Google Hangout session.

“But we are still looking out to try and see how we can get some people into the North American scene to see what is available for us there.”

Oliseh also revealed that he is working actively, to find a player who can provide a creative spark in the team – an area which has proved to be a problem in the national team for years.

He added: “Concerning the play-maker role, we have some players already. We cannot give it out to just one player because of the modern football evolution. But we have certain players in the team who can share that responsibility.

“We are going to start working on them in training especially from the home-based and then we will migrate them into the foreign-based that will be coming in some weeks time.”
